Join us for an enlightening presentation by Daniel Parolek, urban designer, architect, and author of Missing Middle Housing: Thinking Big and Building Small to Respond to Today’s Housing Crisis. Parolek will break down the housing challenges facing communities nationwide and introduce the concept of Missing Middle Housing—what it is, why it matters, and how it can help create walkable, attainable, and community-centered neighborhoods. Attendees will learn practical steps for enabling these housing types through planning and zoning reforms, along with real-world examples from cities and developers from across the country that have successfully put these ideas into action at the building to regional scales with thoughtful design, planning, and zoning reform.
