Trunk-or-Treat with the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce and EDENS Lakeridge Village

Bring the whole family and join us for a fun-filled Trunk-or-Treat in East Dallas! This free community event welcomes all trick-or-treaters to come in costume, collect candy, and enjoy a safe, family-friendly Halloween celebration. Parents, don’t forget your cameras to capture all the spooky smiles and stop by the Wicked-themed photo booth — full of emerald magic and a touch of spooky fun, courtesy of Lantana Studios Photography.

Want to participate in all the fun? 

Businesses, organizations, and families are invited to host a decorated trunk or table at no cost. It’s a wonderful way to showcase your creativity, hand out candy, and connect with the East Dallas community.

While the event is free to attend and participate, we kindly ask that you register in advance so we can plan for enough space, tables, and treats for everyone.

How to Register

  • Click on the Event Registration Link in the upper corner
  • Select the “Register” Option: On the event detail page, click the Register button.
  • Complete the Registration Form: Fill out the required fields.
  • This event is free to participate in, so no payment information is required. 
  • Submit Your Registration: Follow the prompts to confirm.

Day-of Details and How to Prepare

  • Arrival and Setup: Please arrive at 4:00 to decorate your trunk and get settled. Cars will not be allowed to park in spots after 5pm. The event begins at 5:30pm.
  • What to Bring: 4 bags of candy or treats for the kids, business cards or small giveaways, and any décor or signage to showcase your brand. We are expecting 300 kids, so please make sure you have enough goodies for everyone. 
  • Space Provided: Each participant has one parking spot or 6ft table. Please specify which space option you would like when you register. This event is free to attend and participate. 
  • Costumes: Costumes are strongly encouraged by participants to help bring the magic of Halloween to all of the kids.
  • Cleanup: Please plan to stay through the end of the event and remove all décor and trash before leaving.
  • After Party: We will be hosting our monthly happy hour at Pan Asian right after clean up. Stop in and keep the celebration going with good food and good conversations.
